It’s always super fun for me when I get to do both a maternity and a newborn session for people. It’s great to get to see the happiness, anticipation, and love before the birth, and then the result of all that, in this case a beautiful baby boy. My past experiences with newborn sessions have been touch and go. They get upset, cry, don’t want me handling them, and urinate all over everyone and everything during nude setups. In this instance, Jacob was an absolute angel. He let me handle him without any fussing, posed like a pro, and didn’t urinate on anybody! The only time he fussed even a little bit was when I tried to make images of him with his parents. Talk about a superstar, he certainly didn’t want his parents stealing his thunder! I was really pleased with the results of this session, and excited that it was warm enough outside to take the newborn baby out and lay him among the dandelions, and he seemed to be perfectly happy there.
